I can't believe this hasn't been covered before but I can't find it..

How do I set the forum to display dates in UK or ISO format? I find US format very confusing. I have hunted through the options there doesn't seem to be a way to do it...

I just checked in Control Panel > Edit Options > Date & Time Options, assuming that the settings would auto-correct based on which Time Zone you choose. Are your settings there correct? (It may be a vBulletin Software limitation if that doesn't do it.)

FWIW, I have to do the European conversions in my head and have gotten a few dates mixed up, myself.

I am in the same boat about preferring ISO format
    (UK format ? Tjeez. I mean, come on ... :D )

To my knowledge the date format can not be changed or I must have missed it the past 5 years

Yes, I'm set to (GMT) Western European... etc time zone. So the time is correct but it doesn't seem to be clever enough to decide that I also need a European centric date format. :(

    Thanks for the input

Won't language/location preference settings in the browser control date/time format?

I'm not sure they would override the forum settings if there is no option for specifying format.

This is the date displayed above the poster's name on each older post that we're talking about, before Today & Yesterday. right?

I tested changing the browser settings and that doesn't work.

Makes up for the Symbian software that can't get the date format right, even when they give you a setting for it. ;)
