    Easy:

    1. Turn the device off.
    2. Press and hold the "E" and "Z" keys.
    3. Press the Power button once.
    4. When screen comes on, let go of "E" and "Z"
    5. Press Power button once again.
    6. Message that the phone has been reset.
    7. Takes a few mins to reset.

Have you also looked at what
    Shuflie posted? here?

I went ahead and performed the steps above on the phone. Reinstalled Blackberry Connect and Opera Mobile seem to be playing nice together now. One more question, How do I get rid of these stupid get Xpress Mail links that are on just about every theme on the device?

    Since I don't own the device myself I haven't a clue.

You can probably find it in
    Settings>Personal>Today maybe?

Well after doing the hard reset and restoring to factory settings there are still conflicts between blackberry connect and opera. Considering that I really just want to be able to receive my email with push and composing some email, I'm really thinking of trading it in for the Pearl. I can handle the suretype feature since I used to text message like crazy from a motorola flip. I like the form factor of it also. Considering the only browser that would work correctly with Backberry Connect was the browser that was installed with the Connect software was basically the same as on the Blackberry's I can handle it for what little I do on the web with my phone. I really appreciate the help.

eOffice and the newly announced (albeit, IMHO, BIS-crippled) Docs2Go for BB.
