The sad thing is : most of the time is not spent actually processing a frame....

There is something up with the framerates and touchscreen on the e740. Framerates always seem to half when you touch or hold the screen. e.g. It may be running at 22fps, but if you hold the stylus on the screen it will drop to 15 untill you take it back off again....

Yeah, and that's not happening with other devices...

Toshiba : the ppc game developer nightmare !

Hopefully they seem to have got rid of the infamous MediaQ in their last device (e350).

Would it too difficult at this stage to make the action keys configurable?

A new demo is available, improvements includes : better screen and controls configuration.

More improvements will come... Please give us your feedback about this new demo (especially Toshiba devices owners).

To create a playable demo was a wise desicion.

I just posted the news at www.todopocketpc.com for the spanish community. ;)

Playable demo is really a wise decision.

But may I am dump, I can't figured it out.
Were are the "better screen and controls configuration"? I am not even able to figure out what hardware button is doing what. Is there a help information for that anywhere?
Next, the demo crashes some time on my e750, just going back to the desktop.
Last not least, "playing" 10s or so for one track isn't really a "playable" demo. I should at least be able to finisch one round. ;)
Limit the demo to to first track and let the player drive one round would be much better, IMHO. As I said, in the time the demo runs I was not even able to figure out the controls. But that's the most important part in a demo. :(

Have a look at PDAMill and their GameBox Classics. That's what I call demo. You can play for 1 or 2 hour, but after that it's completely over. In that time you either get addicted or you just deinstall the demo. ;)

    Nevermind, just MHO.
