You gave that impression then refused to prove otherwise......
I think StephC has made the point with this post. Maybe its time to move on?
People, everyone knows what is better for his business. In his case he think that he is doing the best keeping the program running just for 10 seconds.
Demos are just that Demos. So...
I don't think you are dumb StephC. I just think you made a wrong decision in making your demo so short. I would rather have one track with at least 5-10 minutes of gameplay versus the current arrangement. I know I have decided not to buy it because of the limited time for testing whether I like it or not.
You really shouldn't believe that a consumer can make up his or her mind with the limited gameplay time you are providing with your demo. Some of us do not want to part with our money that quickly. Why are other developers successful with their products like Doug Beck, PDAMill, and Hexacto? You can state the obvious that their products are very good but IMO it is how they market their products and stand by the products by providing the best demo options possible for the consumer to make a decision.
Your game looks great though, I will give you that.
StephC came through with a playable demo even though his company was not planning to. That deserves a big thank you!
Nice work on the game. I enjoyed it and am looking to purchase. I noticed on Handango , it is showing as free. This had me excited!! But, alas, it was the demo. so, when do you think we may be able to purchase at Handango?
The game is available for purchase on our webstore, which is powered by eSellerate and is perfectly secure, just like Handango.
Just trying to up my Handango purchase points count and keep my purchases in one place.
I have purchased, however.
eSellerate cuts only 10% where handango cuts between 30% and 60% of our sales..
By buying at our webstore you help us lower our prices.
And there is also many issues concerning piracy and user support with Handango.
We are just adding the final touch on our first free addon pack.
It will contain 4 new tracks and be available very soon for download.
Some screenshots :
Wow, those look VERY nice, can't wait!
They look really nice, but I don't know why I have a sudden Super Mario Kart deja vu.
what do you mean ?
it's about the desert map ?
Just a slightly unrelated question, but do you have someone by the name of `Daniel Jackson` on your Programming/Development team?
we are a french team
I just thought this looked strangely familiar, if not too familiar....
OUCH AMAZING the new races ! I m looking forward to run them !
First free add-on pack released.
You can also purchase Crazy Kart from Handango now.
Hello Daimaou !
You could download the new add-on pack here.
I think they are the best Crazy Kart tracks released so far...
They're just a bit too easy for you.
But hardcore add-on packs are coming.
Well, one obstacle is out of the way. I have yet to be burned by Handango (now I have cursed myself for sure), so most of my game purchases are done there at this point. I wanted to get Bust Em 2 but I figured I would wait for more purchases. Crazy Kart just might be one of them with the next revision.
It looks like Handango hasn't updated their system yet. The games doesn't show up at this point.
As a developer you are definitely responding to our complaints/suggestions in a timely manner. Thank you. I only wish others (Ziosoft, Bearded Toad, the developers of Buglord) would do the same.
Now if you could only make the demo time per track longer. Whenever I smack into a wall it takes way too long to get out of that mess then before I know it the demo level ends. waah!!!
