They went after massive targets with precision targeting. Scrape data from Cisco? Grab the keys to a massive portion of the internet and backbone! Scrape from MS? Grab code for their OS and devise nasty exploits faster than MS can keep up or can be alerted to. In simple, this attack is staggering, and the ramifications largely unknown, but completely terrifying.

That I get (the terrifying factor.) Add this to the Equifax "situation" (feel free to substitute your own term - I've tried but can't seem to come up with a horrific enough one that adequately covers all the bases). Why don't businesses hold themselves to an adequate (forget "higher") standard when it comes to security? :vbmad: :vbmad: :vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad::vbmad:

    Deregulation
    Profits before anything else
