I am just wondering how many people protects their devices...or just go bare naked.

On my new Samsung Galaxy SII X, I got a screen protector and TPU skin for it.

I keep my E4GT naked in my pocket. The screen is still in perfect condition. I've dropped the phone quite a few times, unfortunately. Some of the paint around the screen has chipped and one corner is slightly dented. I've had my phone for over a year, and I'll likely upgrade with my next contract renewal, so I'm not too worried about it. The phone still looks great and functions like always.

OtterBox Defender with a screen protector on my Note II. My big phone went from big to massive. But I would rather have it protected so that it lasts! I will likely have this phone for 3 if not 4 years...

I vacillate between very protective and almost nothing. Right now I have an Incipio feather on my iPhone 4S. When I upgrade later this spring I will probably look for a similar case.

I have an Elago slim-fit case on my SGS3. It adds a slight lip around the screen and camera lens, so they're not the first thing to touch a surface, and the case makes the phone grippy instead of slick, but it doesn't add much thickness or weight.

By the way, I don't purchase insurance for my phones, either. Live on the wild side!

Do I live on the wild side if I don't purchase insurance but do suit my device in hermetically sealed, space age protective materials?

I wear a helmet when I bike and buckle my seatbelt in the car, so my wild side does have its limits. :)

Of course, you know what I will say.

I have a fine leather belt case from SENA which Hookette rides in, but she stays naked when I'm -er- handling her. Glass and all.

jig, I found that somewhat comforting about your device's screen. I always worried about damaging the screen.

Gorilla glass is vulnerable to scratches from sand, but generally somewhat impact resistant.

Yeah, I know GG can be scratch, not scratch proof. I am just surprise that your glass is still in pristine condition.
