Brighthand Forums a little slow these days?

Is it just me and my connections, or has the forum been a little slow/non-responsive these days?

Maybe the servers are full or something.

1/2 the time i get messages like this: "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."

hmm well i usually have to click refresh now and then i keep thinking its my 52k connection but you never know......

 

No errors, or complete loading failures, but it's DEFINETLY been dreadfully slow here to.

Must admit it's put a real damper on my posting -- I'm not willing to wait through the huge wait times everytime I click something.

But finally today, seems to be back up to par.

 

I got that, too last week or thereabouts.

I either attributed it to a big sale on PDAs or brighthand is making site maintenance.

Going further OT in the OT world.

if you ever go to the main page, all you see are adverts for pocketpc.

where are the adverts for palm?

makes you wonder...

 

VERY slow and unresponsive, resulting in embarrassing double posts. Repeated errors that the database is too busy to load the page.

 

My experience so far has not been slow -- I am using DSL; could that be why I never seem to have a slow response? Are you all on a dial up hookup? Of course it is not real crowded around here either ... ,
DSL rocks for me!

 

hmm it looks like it sped up now or something. Maybe it was just a cough or something. What is everyone using IE? I'm using Netscape right now and it is well better.

 

Nah... some of us are on RADSL you know (like me!). Anyway, a slow internet connection won't produce a "busy server" message.

Nevertheless, it all seems to be working now.
