    You can try

    Jabber CE

    Also Ruksun has Odigo Messenger

Can't remember about Jabber, but Ruksun will cost you, but you can download a trial version.

They both claim to support Yahoo, but Yahoo seems to be going out of their way to keep PocketPC users from using their instant messaging.

JabberCE does this. Link: http://www.movsoftware.com/jabberce/jabberce.htm (Scroll down on that page to download the PPC2k2 version)

    *Edit*

Aha...a little late. Oh well, two answers are better than none! ;)

The part I want of trillian on the ppc is the instant message LOGS. i use these all the time to look up past info from discussions, phone numbers, quotes, etc. Having everything I said to people in the past year+ on IM is GREAT. I refuse to use messenger on my PPC or at school and whatnot because I hate the idea of having an AIM conversation and not having a record of it. :D

I'd pay for a developer to have IM logs built into a PPC Instant Messenger program.

Nope. Stop supporting it...at least six months ago, maybe close to a year by now. They'd have it up intermittenly every so often, until *poof*

Do these apps work from the storage card? I would assume so.
