My super cheesy artwork on my Treo:

Program requires Palm OS 5, ~250kb RAM for the application, and at least ~620kb for a 320x320 image. You can create images of varying sizes.

Very powerful tool, especially for a Palm handheld.

Supposedly this beta expires March 2009. Use it while you can, until the next version comes out!

Easy to use. 5 stars of 5 stars for this freebie. Enjoy!

Freeware - Requires Palm OS 5, 320x320 resolution. Sorry, Palm Zire 21, 31, and Zire 22 not supported as they don't meet screen resolution minimum.

    Uses ~200KB RAM.

    Get it here: http://pkplus.free.fr/palm/puissance1000/?lang=en

    Enjoy!

Thanks to Valcon66 for the tip.

The game runs nicely on my Zire 71. :)

    Quick Summary:
    Graphics: 8/10
    Performance: 7/10
    Stability: NYD*
Gameplay: Perfect clone of Miles Bourne. 10/10

    Overall: 8/10

    * NYD= Not Yet Determined; I haven't used the program enough to decide on a rating. ;)

    Guys.

Here is a free holiday program I find very useful. Get it here.

Works fine on OS5 except that the holidays cannot be exported to Calendar. Not a big deal when you remember that the program is free.

Attachment contains a ZIP file and a SIT file.

I have downloaded and am trying Ninerpad. It looks very good and stable on my TX. I found it through a site that told you about software to use for GTD. It's at http://ninerpad.com.

There's a small user group too. I will let you know how it is, but so far it looks good, a bit difficult to work out without the users' manual (which can be downloaded as a pdf), but the icons are nice and pretty. It seems to do what it says and it has an almost unlimited drawing space.

I've decided already to replace my Notes with this. I've tried T Notes, Bug Me, Jotter, and SuperNote. None of them really met my needs.

ComiX, a fairly recent application for viewing comics on Palm pdas, is now free.

Quote from Adrianus Wamenhoven, the author:
The source of this quote is here.
The program cannot directly handle cbz and cbr files, but instead, a Windows utility is included, which extracts JPGs from the archive, and resize them to a smaller size, and save them to a folder. One downside is that the utility does not recognize any other type of file other than JPG. The utility requires Netframes 2.0 (a Mircrosoft free component) to work.

About the app itself, it's pretty good. 2 things I've liked is that it shows the first page of the comics in the OPEN window, and so makes identification of various comics much easier, and also that it saves where you've last left reading, for each comic. This makes coming back to different comics a comfortable experience.

One last note is that if you're using a T5, or any other Palm with an Internal Drive (LD?), you'll have to place the comics in drive\comix in this drive, not on an external card. It can't see any comics on the latter.

I have not checked if the supplied key works. I hope so, because the author's website is down.

came across this earlier today, while searching for something totally different on freewarepalm.com -- 1 page with *all* of their apps:
    http://www.freewarepalm.com/listall.shtml

I did a quick look-thru in this thread, and elsewhere on BH, but didn't find that it had been posted about before. as the instructions at the top of the page say, you can use your browser's search function, to find the name of the app you're looking for. enjoy, peeps ;)
