Cannot Hotsync Palm V to Dell D600 laptop
Have been hot synching for over a year on home desktop configuration between Palm V and Palm desktop. Now using Dell Lattitude D600 laptop with Outlook 2003 as primary calendar and contacts. Purchased and installed latest Pocketmirror 3.1.6 over upgraded Palm desktop 4.1; connected cradle to USB port, played around with the speeds of transfer, switched port connections and still get " The connection...cannot be established" when I try to hot sync. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you updated or intalled the correct drivers for the USB to Serial adapter?
Then you should enable the "Local Serial" option on the Hotsync manger app as the adapter is actually using an USB port to emulate a Serial port.Welcome to Brighthand
