    Unhappy Hotsync Problems

So I was upgraded by my company the other day to Outlook 2003 while also being put on an Exchange Server. Now, when I Hotsync, Hotsync crashes near the end of a session without fail. Someone please help. I'm sure it's something rather stupid.

Here is a copy of my log on the pC side:

There are more records in your Handheld than in Outlook. Please re-synchronize to attempt recovery.

Since you're using the Z71, then you're also using PocketMirror as your conduit to Outlook. Read this, from Chapura's knowledgebase.

    Default The plot thickens...

So I upgraded to the latest drivers for Chapura. I no longer get the error I was getting. However, Hotsync still crashes, but only when I am syncing VersaMail. When VersaMail is set to "Do Nothing" I get no issue. When it is set to sync, it syncs, gives me an OK log, and then I get the following XP pop-up.

"Hotsync has performed an illegal action, would you like to send a report to Microsoft so they can do absolutely nothing with it. This screen is just to do away with the 'blue-screen-of-death' anti-marketing screen we used to have in your previous version of Windows"

    On to VersaMail I guess.

    Try reinstalling Versamail.

    Default Any luck?

Did you have any luck with it? I have been facing the same problem, and dont' know where to look for a solution. Is Versamail owned by Palm, or is it a third-party app?
