Default MMS + No Data Feature

I am not sure where do I put this, so I put it here.

Anyway, guys, if I get a smartphone w/o data plan and somehow I disabled the data feature, if someone MMS me, what happen to that MMS msg? Just stay there in the "inbox" forever?

I think this is On Topic for smartphones, so a mod should consider moving it.

From what I understand, MMS does require internet data feature enabled. I don't know the answer to your question. In fact, I believe my sister sent me MMS messages that I never received because Google Voice couldn't handle them. She never got a failure notice, either.

    Sorry I can't help, but I think it's a good question.

Ask and ye shall receive. Thread has been relocated.

And I don't know the answer either.
