best high end NO contract smartphone??
Originally I always wanted the LG esteem, but it looks like the HTC Evo Design 4G might be the best option out there....is the evo that much better, apparently you cannot hook it up to your TV via HDMI like you can with the esteem, i've never had the chance to use this option but it sounds amazing for web browsing or playing games.
what do you think, or are there more powerful no contract phones that trump both of these guys???

Isn't the Evo Design 4G a Sprint-only phone?

Yes, and the LG Esteem is for MetroPCS. Satch, you probably should decide what carrier you want before picking a phone. Even if you buy off eBay to avoid a contract, you'll need to pick a phone that supports that carriers' technology.

According to the Boost Mobile site, they are indeed carrying the HTC EvoDesign 4G.

You got me excited for a moment. That 'Evo Design' is not like the Evo 4G LTE. It has a smaller screen, lesser CPU, etc. Not a bad phone though. Boost uses Sprint's network I think so maybe they'll eventually get the Evo LTE. After all, they're using Sprint's 'proprietary' Evo brand.

What I'm interested in seeing is how quickly PAYG providers like Boost get the NEW iPhone 5. If there's little or no delay, that would be a positive thing.
