Default Droid razr maxx not connecting to wifi

My droid was connecting to my wireless network great. Then I had to update the password and now it will not connect. My wireless network still has the same network name, just a different password. I have tried to forget the network, modify the network and nothing works. Any ideas?

    Welcome to Brighthand

although it may make little sense, have you rebooted the router? thats about all that comes to mind.

Yes, I have tried that and still nothing. Unplugged it, turned off my phone. Plugged back in router after about a minute. Then turned back on my phone and had same issue

Try disabling the password on your network, then connect to it with you razr. If you connect successfully, set a new password and go from there.

Not much to offer, except that it sounds as if the router's settings may have gone bad. It may be a good idea to back up your router's current settings (as a safeguard), restore the router to factory defaults, then manually reconfigure it from scratch.

Maybe try setting the router's security to WEP instead of WPA.

I've had the same problem with my Droid Razr. It's actually my sisters and she got it from Terracom. I've since followed all of the advice given here and it still has corrected the problem with my phone. I think I just need to finally invest in another cell phone.
