Re: I'm looking for an Android app suggestion.
I haven't used iTunes in a long time, but Windows Media Player 11 does a nice job of ripping and organizing CDs, automatically adding album art and metadata with album info. I've run into a few issues with some odd albums regarding the metadata, but it's pretty rare.

Yes, basically, if you don't have good tags, you are at the mercy of playing folders or using playlists.
I long ago went through my music library with a Tag editor (big project) and these days rippers do a good job with the tags, and buying from Amazon or iTunes give you good tags to begin with.Hook's Stories

And now I'm regretting even more missing Poweramp's sale
I'm stuck with MixZing's free version.
I feared so.... I have several thousand songs I've ripped over one and a half decade, I can't even imagine how long it would take me to add tags to all of them.raspabalsa

Re: I'm looking for an Android app suggestion.
Poweramp has a free version and, although I don't remember, I think I upgraded mostly to support the developer. I think the free version is pretty full featured, but maybe I don't remember right. I know it gives you full features for 14 days, so it may take awhile to figure out what its features are.
You might be surprised. If you just go for album and artist, and use batch tagging, as a side project you do as you have time, it can go pretty fast. here is a really good free tag editor that will even do things lke parse file names to tags and vice versa.I feared so.... Thanks for the links, I'll probably start this project sometime this decade or the next.
