Which Treo to buy

I hav owned a Tungsten E2 for a few years now and am looking at buying a Treo so I have everything in one. The carrier would be Cingular and I am trying to decide between the 680 and the 750. I have read that the 680 battery life isn't quite what it should be. The 750 uses windows mobile and I don't know if I would like it over the Palm OS since that is what I am used to. The 680 would be cheaper and I like that a lot but I don't want to settle for something that won't cut the mustard. What experiences can you all share on both devices that would give me a point in the right direction?

My first response would be to suggest that you find a store somewhere that stocks Windows devices, or even the 750 specifically, and try it out a little bit. It would give you a feel for the OS and the user experience in general, which might help you either get over your concerns, or rule it out entirely.
