IMHO It seems like the card would have been smaller if they had utilized the amplifier and head phone jack that is available on all PocketPCs. The redundancy is just going to make the card bigger and more expensive.

Steve-Your link to iBIZ doesn't work. Aside from that it looks good to me. I like the look of the controls on the Pocket PC.

It's also inconvenient if you miss audible alarms because you're listening to the radio through headphones and the alarms don't override as they do with playback through the standard jack.

Having said that it needs a windows pc with AS installed so there is clearly an installation of software and they may have thought of that.

Apart from that it looks a good idea and if I were travelling more than I am at present I'd seriously consider buying one.

Default TV?

While a CF radio is nice, a CF TV would be great! Possible?

A lot of these devices use the headphone cord as an extension to the antena, which, I don't think would be possible if you used the PPC stereo jack

Default Yea Baby! (It's About Time)

Someone had to be first. I'll bet others will follow.

My thoughts in addition to the excellent ones already raised...
AM/FM? (aka never fully content are we...)

Availability? Anyone contact iBIZ Tech? (I'm forwarding this thread to their email contact.)

Regards,
Rand
