Default Great Deals Available on the Latest AT&T Windows Phones

The official price for the recently-released AT&T Tilt2 is $300, but it's available for much less at several online retailers. The new AT&T Pure is available for even less: free with contract.

AT&T Tilt2Amazon.com has this high-end Windows phone with a WVGA screen and keyboard for just $150, but LetsTalk.com is selling it for even less: $100. All these prices require a new or renewed two-year service plan.

These two retailers are also offering the AT&T Pure, which can be purchased for free with a two-year contract from both Amazon.com and LetsTalk.com.

A Comparison of the AT&T Tilt 2 and AT&T Pure
These two smartphone have much in common -- they both run Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro on 528 MHz processors, have WVGA touchscreens, mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, GPS, and microSD card slots. They have different designs, though.

AT&T PureThe Pure has a tablet shape with a 3.2-inch display, and depends on its on-screen keyboard. The Tilt 2, on the other hand, has a 3.6-inch slide-and-tilt display and a horizontally-oriented QWERTY keyboard.

The Pure has a 5.0 MPx camera, while the Tilt2 has a 3.2 megapixel one.

Both models employ the HTC TouchFLO 3D user interface on top of Windows Mobile. This is a fingertip-friendly UI that extends the homescreen with a number of tabs, each with a different focus: e-mail, music, calendar, applications, etc.

Underneath this is Microsoft's standard suite of entertainment and productivity applications, including Office Mobile and Outlook Mobile.

These are quad-band phones with tri-band HSDPA, plus they sports Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1.

The Tilt2 is a version of the HTC Touch Pro2 and the Pure is a version of the HTC Diamond2.

As mentioned earlier, the official price for the Tilt2 is $300 with contract, while the Pure is $150 with contract when purchased directly from AT&T.

Hi Ed,

This appears as a contradiction.

>>The new AT&T Pure is available for even less: free with contract.<<

>>while the Pure is $150 with contract when purchased directly from AT&T.<<

Is it free or $150? If free someone needs to tell ATT.

Read this DigitalDoc,

These two retailers are also offering the AT&T Pure, which can be purchased for free with a two-year contract from both Amazon.com and LetsTalk.com.

If you purchase directly from At&t, cost you $150.

Thanks NEtBrakr! That seems odd. I wonder if ATT will match it?

I think it's odd that some carriers will let retailers sell their devices for less than they themselves do, but it's not un-common.
