Default Keep Going.

Keep going Palm. I wouldn't pay $300 for one.

I second that... it is logical to expect that palm is readying itself for another round of product releases.

I'm guessing palm will Hard-Launch a second LD as well as announce at least one new treo device which would probably be formally launched about a month later. (yes, that means i expect a late march or early april date for such an announcement).

If anyone is interested in observing and/or participating in yet another round of rumor-madness feel free to search for threads involving posts from me, gekko, surur, or any number of other posters on any number of forums sites.

But of course, there is no greater palm-related forum site than Brighthand.

Default OOOLLLLLLLDDDDDDD

I could use an update. My Palm Zire 72 it getting so OLD! I am ready for a new Axim x51v, but they are too high in price.
I miss the days we all dreamed of eternally escalating features and eternally falling prices.
I long thought when I got my Zire 71 for $118 and my 72 for $180 that I would never again need to spend more than $200 on a PDA.
Cameraphone prices continue to fall as camera features creep ever up. Alas for the good old days. With HP leaving just the slowed down Palm and the dead-in-the-water Dell I see a big drop in sales this year.
Come on Palm, prove me wrong with a real Sony TH55-like killer model.

Full screen, 64 MB fast static memory, 1 gig flash, dual wireless, dual SD slots, 3.2 Megapixel camera withclip on optical zoom lense optional, decent video recording, microphone, vibration alarm, sleek black metal casing, 1500 MaH hot swappable battery, FITALY, $400 or less list price.

Its nice to have my name dropped in random conversation. Anyways, even fans of the LD must admit there is an even chance of the device being canceled, which is a rather poor indictment of Palm's only high-end PDA.

There is a very low chance of palm totally killing the line.

As for randomly dropping your name: that is simply because the bunch of us tend to show up on the same threads arguing incessantly about nonsense.
