Aside from this, the N560 will be quite similar to its immediate predecessor, but it will sport a 624 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM.
I assume this is a typo and they mean 256MB of ROM.

You are probably correct, but the information I was given clearly says 256 MB of RAM.

No - it is definitely 256 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM for the N560. As well as the 624 Mhz processor, VGA screen and GPS the N560 will also have USB Host (no surprise there) and 802.11g WiFi (though I can't see an indication of what version of BT it has - 1.2 or 2.0).

Default fujitsu 800 series

Anyone else feel the following about the 800 series?
subtract the finger board thing. (if I want to do that much data entry I'd use a notebook or a bt keyboard).

*add a higher rez vga screen
*add about 4gb of flash ram (I know some other design is gonna do this, this summer)
*make sure the battery is good capacity!
*make sure the bluetooth profiles are complete

the main things: better screen, battery and memory is the final key! all the other icing on the cake features are definately wanted (bt 2, gps etc.) but if they only got those basics better!!!!
fujitsu 800 = close to dream machine!

Question

I hope it about the same size as a treo 650 then I'll buy it. If it's as huge as the O2 XDA Exec then forget it...no matter how cool it looks if I cant hold the thing up to my ear with out looking like a dork then it gets a thumbs down.

A couple of quick corrections about the Treo 700w.

It is a CDMA device with support for EV-DO, not GSM/GPRS.

It doesn't have Wi-Fi built in, but you can add it with an SD card.

Of course, there's the screen resolution of the Treo 650 which is 320 x 320.

I'm still not sure I understand why the Treo 700w doesn't support this resolution is it a WinMob issue?
