Default RIM Unveils Next-Generation BlackBerry

The latest BlackBerry handheld will be the first model from RIM to use an Intel processor, and the first to support EDGE wireless networking.

You guys (Brighthand) should start doing reviews of Blackberry hardware. There seems to be more and more software sold, and the Blackberries are starting to get better hardware specs.

That is, since Brighthand is 'nothing but handhelds', and Blackberry has a major share in the push email, the killer handheld app...

Whoa, look at that total Treo keyboard ripoff!

Looks neat, but I still think it's just a scaled-back PDA with real push email.

That's exactly what it is, but RIM sells more such devices (anything with a keyboard) than anyone else.

I think the original Blackberries actually came out before the Treo. (The flat slab with keyboard isn't really a revelation in terms of form factor anway...)
