Default Clie Bluetooth Adapter

If only I could read Japanese... First thing that pops into my mind is, "What are the specs?" What version of Bluetooth will this feature? BT v2.0 was released months ago; lets hope this features 2.0, not 1.1 or 1.2. And which Bluetooth Profiles? I'm looking forward to the reviews!

I'm not enthusiastic about the way this is mounted. We'll have to exercise more care than usual handling and setting the handheld down with the BT adapter attached. That said, if it works well, I'll likely buy it.

I thought I went over the specs pretty carefully in my article. It uses Bluetooth 1.2, and it supports Dial-Up Networking (DUN), Serial Port (SPP), Generic Access (GAP), and Service Discovery Application (SDAP).

Default You're Very Correct!

I read that so fast... I missed part of the content. The specs were right in front of me, and I didn't see them. Thankfully, I don't live where snakes are plentiful, or I'd never have made it to my present age!

Earlier in the day I found the Bluetooth.org's Bluetooth Qualification Website. I was amazed at how many recent cell phones, and some not even released, use BT v1.1! V1.2 was the current version for months, v2.0 has been released, and companies have the **** to insult us by releasing equipment with 2-year old firmware. Can you imagine buying a new computer, and finding it came with OS 9 or Windows 98?
