Question Bad news for PS

This is bad news for PalmSource. Big question is will Garmin also remain with the Palm OS or does this signal the beginning of the end for Garmin and PS.

While I'm excited by the announcement, I'm a little underwhelmed by the specs. If Garmin would have truly brought out a unique, stand out device, they would have not only included the ubiquitous WiFi, but also a VGA screen - with their mapping software scaled to take full advantage of it.

Hopefully they are already working on such a model - this would be the true "killer" GPS system to beat.

The price also seems a little steep - how much was the Palm version?

You'll find few devices that have been on the market for over a year still selling at the original price. That's why we put that big icon on our reviews that says "Click & Compare for the latest prices!"
