I cannot speak for the other E-Mail systems, but Novell Groupwise just as easily supports POP3 as it does IMAP4. I use a Tungsten T3 with a Groupwise POP3 setup.

I'm a little confused...
What product is this driver, now? The SanDisk Wi-Fi SD Card or the Wi-Fi Card by palmOne?
In the first paragraph of the "Wi-Fi Software for the Zodiac" page, it says it's for the SanDisk card, while under "product features" it says "Requires a palmOne Wi-Fi card". Or does it even work for both?
Also, I noticed that Tapwave might even plan to release an updated driver that also supports the SanDisk 256MB+Wi-Fi SD card. Now that would be cool! And another reason to buy a Zodi instead of the T|T5. (So, I hope they'll finally bring this device to europe.)

The combo memory/wi-fi not really as important on the Zodiac as it includes 2 SD slots.
These are looking better all the time. I wish Tapwave would make a smaller PDA-centered version. Now that Wi-Fi is at least doable, this would replace my T-C.

It works with both. Interestingly enough, both are virtually identical. There is, of course, no good reason to buy the expensive palmOne card if you can get the same card from somewhere else for almost half price under the SanDIsk brand.
Conspiracy theorists might want to think about the problems SanDisk allegedly had making their cards work with palmOne devices other than the Zire 71...

There's no "might" about it. As I noted in my article, Tapwave flat out says it is going to go release a driver for this card.

If you read the posts from one of the actual driver developers over on Tapland, you'll find that it's not certain that they will be able to support the combo card. Yes, it somewhat contradicts what the webpage says, but the webpage just yesterday also said that the current driver requires a palmOne WiFi card.

Plus, even if they definitively said that they were going to support the combo card, they haven't indicated any particular timeframe. And you know how that goes. Bottom line: if you're anxious for Wi-Fi support, I wouldn't recommend waiting for the combo card drivers. Plus, as has been said, with the Zodiac's dual-slot design (and the 128MB memory option of buying a Zodiac 2), having a Wi-Fi-only card isn't really all that bad, is it?
