Just want to correct the physical dimensions:
Length 119 mm (4.7 inches)
Width 73 mm (2.9 inches)
Height 16.9 mm (0.7 inches)
Weight 167 grams (5.9 oz)

Beware: it's thicker than previously estimated.

I find the non vga models disappointing and according to the manual the wifi is quite anemic. X30 still looks a better (qvga) deal.

Beautiful design. Humiliates the HP Darth Vader Pez Dsispensers. Not a PPC person, but this could "v" make one think.

The only difference between my dimensions and your dimensions are all of yours have been rounded up. I measured my review unit with a ruler, so mine are more accurate.

Any word if this model will have a button lag like the old Toshibas and the X3? If it does that's a deal breaker for me.

The 16.9mm thick is for the thickest part. This unit is only 15mm for 99% part.

Same as X30. 99% part is only 13mm, while the thickest part is about 15mm.

But x50 only weight 150g from Ed's comments, which is much lighter than the weight in spec. Don't know why.

What are you referring too?

Are the transfer rates are sub par?

What do you have to support his?

In my tests, I found the the X50v's range to be about 10% less than the X30's. But keep in mind, the X30 has outstanding Wi-Fi range. The X50v is comperable to other Pocket PCs without external anntenna.
