Arrow Tapwave Zodiac Coming to the U.K. in Two Weeks

Tapwave had announced that its Zodiac gaming-oriented handheld will be available in the U.K. for the first time later this month.

Holy crappola - are thos prices correct? Thats works out to the equivalent of $485 usd for the Zod and $592 usd for the Zod 2. I knew that this kind of item was more in the uk, but this is double the price! Is this a mistake?

No, it is rather typical, even with the ? strong against the $ we get ripped off.

Apart from on Mobile Phones.

And hence why it will likely fail. With Nintendo DS and Sony PSP due next year, and GBA SP having its price reduced, I can't personally see this selling to more than the hardcore.

As someone possibly looking for a new portable gaming device I will look elsewhere. Also is Duke and Doom 2 the best on offer?...
