Default Button Mapping Program for WM2003?

My favorite btnplus app no longer works on my new 1940 with WM2003.

Can anyone confirm this? and if it is broken, is there an alternative that will work?

Thanks,

Yellow

not sure what btnplus does but while I was at the MortPlayer page I noticed that there is a MortButtons:

Click the PocketPC link, at the left.

BtnPlus is a program that lets you map multiple applications to one particular button.

The best part was that i differentiated between Single Press, Double Press, or Press and hold. So you can map up to 3 apps per button.

I Took a look at MortButtons and althought it's a nice workaround, It's still too cumbersome since you have to launch it first with the button then scroll through a listof apps and select the on eyou want.

come on folks, don't let me down! I know there are tons of you out there that would love an app like BtnPlus!

Vito Buttonmapper

Buttonmax
http://www.pocketmax.net/buttonMax.htm
(more expensive but supports double-clicks)

Very nice program. Why isn't this included in the operating system? It was a little hard to figure out at first, since the copy I downloaded was not in English, but once I figured it out it works great.

Some questions to those of you who use the btnPlus software:

Can you do macros? W/ Buttonmax I've been able to map a macro of screen taps for items that you can't normally map a button for.

Also can you do separate button profiles for each app? I can have one set of mapped buttons for PIE and disable the mappings when WMP is in the foreground. Or does the btnPlus software's mappings act more globally for all apps?

Also can you map/unmap the d-pad?

My trial for Buttonmax is about to run out and if this btnPlus software already does these features that maybe I'll use that.

thanks.

ButtonMax is the only macro one out there (well.. only one that's USABLE.. vito's has a macro thing, but it's horrible).

I prefer DoubleLauncher.
