It looks like somebody finally decided to release a hi-res Palm OS smartphone. Hey - does this samsung have the highest res display of any smart phone (i am talking about 'phones' as in phone form factor)? can't think of anything else myself.

first i500 / then i505, and now i530.

3 devices that i've heard but haven't seen not even one.

Keyboard is missing. Keyboard. If you need a 0-9 pad put it on the screen. Or part of the keyboard. Or make it sound activated.

Keyboard. The Treo 600 is 4 years behind this product but the lack of keyboard makes this just a phone.

Why can't they put a $ 4 keyboard on it? Don't they see it emasculates the product? Can you type I AM DUMB on 0-9 code?

Keyboard. Announce a keyboard product on this phone and you'd get leadership on the market. And a 5 way little switch wheel.

I'd like to get a Bluetooth phone and this one seemed to find the bill as a phone with PDA functionality, rather than the other way 'round. PDA "phones" tend to be beasts.

They can leave the camera off. I don't need it and would trade it for Bluetooth in a heartbeat.

Oh, well. It will probably never come to verizon anyway.

At least it doesn't have a keyboard. Last thing needed on a phone is a QWERTY. Put it on the screen like any decent Palm PDA.
