Question

Has anyone seen published read/write specs for this card? The only thing that I have seen is the term "high speed" used in some descriptions of the card. I would love to place an order, but I need to see some specs first.

Thanks...

Reply from Sandisk on the speed of the 1GB SD....

Hi David -- We typically don't publish our performance specs for our blue line -- or standard products -- because they change all the time. We are always adding new controllers to improve the performance so the info is quickly outdated. We don't do a press release each time we improve the speed. But I can tell you that current write speed of the 1GB SD card is 3 megabytes a sec and the read speed is 8MB a sec. Bob

Bob Goligoski was the contact listed on their press release for the card. I appreciate his quick reply.
