Want one. Want one real bad. I have waited forever for a 1 gig sollution for less than $100. Now that CF is there, no one is using CF slot anymore. (OK, none of the Palm OS PDAs that I am interested in.)

But, then, this will almost certainly be in a CF slot when it gets to the PDA aftermarket (that is, it won't be on a sled -- not that I would want that anyway, but it won't likely be) and by the time it ships for $100 retail CF drives will be available in 2 gig for not much more. What happened to the old IBN CF micros? Are they still available new? Anyone know what they sell for?

Cornice lands $51 million

Longmont-based Cornice said on Wednesday that it has received $51 million in a second round of venture financing, bringing the total to $81 million. The hefty investment is an indication that venture funding for technology is picking up and that hard drives are becoming more crucial to consumer electronics devices.
