When it becomes available in October, the Photosmart Mobile Camera from HP will be able to take both still pictures and video.

Like I said in another thread, 1.3 is good for nothing. To buy a 1.3 Megapixel camera is a waste of money.

In fairness, there were some great 1.3 megapixel cameras; back in the day. I still have plenty of pix from my Oly D-600L and Nikon CP 900.

That being said, I've never been too happy with CMOS add-on cameras (and I'm assuming this add-on uses a CMOS imager). Oh yea, a flash would sure be nice.

With that being said I have gotten a few decent 640 x 480 shots from my Palm Z-71. Of course this has a camera built-in. I don't think I'd like carrying an add-on appendage.

That comparison is kinda unfair. 1.3MP vs 3.3 MP? That's ridiculous.
