"While this would be the first time HP had based an iPAQ on a processor from TI"

That's not true the Jornada WDA 928 used a TI OMAP processor....

Default Not This Year

You may have noticed that I've re-written the article to say this device is not expected this year, but next. It is all based on this sentence in the Mobile Commerce World article: "The company said it is aiming to come out with such a 'converge' product by next year." It's the "by next year" part that is causing problems. I interpreted that as meaning "before next year" but we had a huddle of the Brighthand writing staff and I got outvoted 3 to 1. The consensus is this means "sometime next year". So that's why the article was changed.

I hope that it comes out soon and is compatible with Sprint-I'd love to get an all in one that is made by a company that has been doing this for years. I wonder who is going to make the CDMA part tho? Probably qualcomm, but I guess we have to wait and see.
