Final Version of AvantGo for Palm OS 5 Available
Though a beta has been available for months, AvantGo has finally released a version of its client application that supports Palm OS 5.

I've been playing with this for a couple of days, and I'm impressed! For some sites it actually works better as a browser than NetGear. The stability of offline viewing on my T|C is also impressive. I had tried an early beta, and this has come a long way.

AvantGo Beta is currently the only app that makes my Z71 reset.
I get fatal exception errors when the page that I want to view has too much content.
I don't think that it is stable enough to be the final release.

Crapware
Still as buggy as ever on my end. All of my channels remain low res, as before.

It WAS hi res for a few weeks, or at least partly in hi res. Oh well, I guess I'll keep Web Pro since it does hi res for everything. |

Problems with word warp in AvantGo for PalmOS 5
I use the Clie TG50 and the AvantGo does not perform word wrap properly. The AvantGo on my Palm OS 4 did this task with no problem. For example, look on the InfoSync channel.
Any suggestions?
