Remind me of Palm vs PPC wars: "it's too big" Palm fans said too. Well the Cli? N series perfectly demonstrates that the more you put in something the bigger it gets (as if you didn't know it already ).
Add to the 1910:
- a CF slot
- a bigger battery
- a normal sized headphone jack
- a mini-USB host connector
- 2 speakers (to act as a phone with relevant back accessory)
- a connecting system to add back sleds
- etc.
and it will grow to the size of an E-3000 .

Well, since only the Toshiba e750 (and, perhaps, the new Axims) have the PXA-255 in them, the E-3000 isn't quite so average in terms of speed. Plus it has the largest internal battery of any current PPC.

You said it. Trouble is, every PPC is the same. The only exceptions are the ipaq 5450 biometric fingerprint reader-thingy, and the addition of built-in wireless for some PPC models. Aside from these and going from 200 mhz arm to 400mhz, PPCs have basically stayed the same for 3 yrs. They almost all have the same bloody form factor. The 1910 is considered inovative because they took out enough stuff to make it the size of a Palm - ho-hum. Im not anti-ppc or trying to start a flame-war - but how about a little design creativity? how about higher-res displays? (different aspect ratios?) folding designs? (and not just teasing us with protype designs like that sexy hp ppc folding thing with the keyboard that has never seen the light of day).

Casio E-3000
I think that this is a pretty nice Pocket PC. Big Yes, however powerful battery that will last for a good 18 hours is a definate plus.
Still, a little too big for use and until a good Palm or Pocket PC with a low price and the latest OS, I'll stick with my M505.

I agree. There has been very little Pocket PC innovation since...a long time. I guess these manufacturers are just afraid to go to something too radical that hasn't already proved successful.
I'd love to see Alienware make a Pocket PC. They'd not only make the most powerful Pocket PC imaginable, but they'd make it stylish as well.

Alienware doesn't make those cases it's known for, but Chenming. They also OEM those designs to Antec and Chieftec.
Anyway, I second the sentiment - the PocketPC is stagnant. They need more fresh designs like the 1910's and lower prices like the Axim X5's.
