I would advise to use caution before proceeding. Read all instruction at this site.
This site may be new, but I do not notice the usual request to accept terms or policy, nor much detail how your information will be protected.
It requires cable connection through PC to sync and install, but no information if information will be available via wireless connection, as phone web connect or WiFi,
A new method of phishing? email address, personal info, .....?????
I would suggest the site provide more information otherwise this link may be remove.
Thank you.

It's for syncing away from home. It lets you keep all your Palm files on its server. It comes with an app to sync using Wi-fi or bluetooth and a phone/modem.
Sorry Zire102001, but this app isn't for you...

I would agree with bab2000. They have a privacy policy that's cribbed pretty much word-for-word from the GMail privay policy (they even forgot to remove a reference to GMail in the text!). They don't provide any real-world address or contact details, just the " info@... " line.Originally posted by BAB2000

There's no information about the providers, why they are providing the service, how they intend to recoup their costs, and so on.
The domain is registered to an individual in St. Petersburg, Russia... who has the same email address as 'semur' so obviously it's his product.
Note that if this *is* a trojan, it's clever social engineering. You download an application from a stranger... because it's an "internet sync" tool you won't be concerned when your firewall says it's trying to access the internet and you would therefore allow access. From then on it's either working or not, but either way you're letting it upload your contact list and anything else that might be on your computer... and for all you know it's also logging keystrokes, providing someone remote control of your PC, and so on and so forth.
Personally, I won't install this -- even for a trial -- without a lot more information.

Dear Steve T, you're right. Our project looks like email and personal data collectioning for terrible and dishonest purposes. But it isn't truth.
Your questions and notices are correct.
We don't need your email, the "email" field was on the site because of each email address originality. Now there "Login" field.
Also you right about policy - it very similar to Gmail's Privacy Policy. It's because of my opinion that Gmail is the greatest project on the web.
Our project isn't commercial at this time. We provide it because our idea is great, fresh and interesting, I think so. We want realize it.
There no logger or malware code in syncmate.prc program. You can sniff internet traffic from your Palm device with program like Softick PPP.
