Hey guys.

I just made my first android game. Its called walkabout - the idea is to collect all the stars on each level, but as you walk the path beneath you disappears. You need to think about your route or you'll be stranded!

You know, there is nothing wrong with text URLs until you have a proper number of earned posts. Running up a quick post count with fairly unthoughtful comments doesn't tend to make a good first impression.

Actually they weren't unthoughtful. I had a quick scan of the forum and responded to things I could help with. I've been making custom roms for quite some time now. Check out the galaxy asop project for example

I've been trying out the demo just because the graphics reminded me of SNES Zelda (this game is a puzzle game, not an RPG) and an old Palm favorite Mazera. It is easily as addictive as Angry Birds and pretty fun. I think demo level 9 sold me, very clever puzzle, took me forever to figure out how to collect the key before getting all the stars. I know, I'm a little slow.

Nice diversion for a puzzle gamer, not nearly as blood pressure building as Angry Birds.

Don't get stuck on level 5 now. Seems to be causing people some trouble... hint: think about where else you might be able to walk first?

Just wanted to add that this game is really delightful. It really reminds me of the best of the Astraware games on my TX with much better graphics. That is high compliments-- while I have been not terribly impressed with Astraware's Android offerings, their Palm games were fantastic. The gameplay is nice and the puzzzles get more and more challenging. Best of all, for me, it is a thinking game, not an adrenaline trigger finger game.

I love it. If you like puzzle games, give it a try.
