    Thumbs up

    PDArcade,

I echo the previous comment regarding the clean, attractive design of your site. Technical question: Is that all custom PHP or, if you don't mind my asking, what modules/apps are you using or adapting? I like the level of integration on your site (as opposed to, say, my own. A mixture of PHP, shtml & perl with no good cross-flow between each interactive element). Feel free to email me here or at shannon@wildtexas.com if you'd rather.

Again, good work. I'm sure the gamers will be flocking to your site in short order!

Thanks guys! To answer your question I am using a set-up called phpnuke http://www.phpnuke.org (It talkes about it a little in my welcome message that I posted) This is basically a set of PHP scripts that tie into a MySQL satabase and then the forum is actually a 3rd party addon to that or modules that fit in. All of this is free and it just takes some time to configure and work around some of the quirks, so you may have to add a line of code or 2 but you can find out what you need to add to fix it. phpnuke has themes which are like skins and can be configured and modified on how you need them. For instance my theme is the default theme with some cleanup and color changes because I liked the simplicity but you can go all the way to a full gui if you really wanted to. All the content is added through a web page that you control and takes regular HTML statements for the layout of news items or blocks (the things that you see on the sides of the page) The set is mainly for making a news/information type site but can really be configured into whatever you want.

If you want any more information let me know but the website has all the links and info that I needed.

    Thanks
    Michael
