    IPAQ Great

    PocketTV Excellent,

It wasn't so long ago that you needed a fairly good PC to play MPEG1 files.

    Good Job.

I see the PocketTV team has been monitoring this forum, which is great. I have a question, though, will PocketTV ever work on the Compaq 2010/2015 machines? Any idea why it doesn't? I use it on my Z50, and it works great, but I would like to use it on my 2015C as well.

    Thanks,

    Richard Adams

Compaq 2010/2015 are too slow to play MPEG, so it is unlikely that we'll spend time supporting those platforms. Our recommendation: Get an iPaq :-)

We have just released version 0.3.7:

Added 7 days grace period for registration. Assigned UP and DOWN keys to Volume control, LEFT key to Stop and RIGHT key to Play/Pause.

Fast video still doesn't work on EM-500 *sniff*. Weird, how after downloading new GAPI from Microsoft site every PPC software that failed to display graphics, now works, except Pocket TV with fast video enabled. I hope PocketTV team will be able to figure this out.

You must de-select 'Fast Video' on the EM-500.

The problem will be fixed when we receive a device from Casio...

PocketTV version 0.3.8 has been released. It is available from http://www.handango.com .

It fixes the problem with CF Backup/Restore: After a CF Restore, PocketTV was asking for a new key. This not the case anymore.

Everytime I download the latest version I have to re-apply for a Code, is there anyway for it to realise I have already registered and not need me to apply for a new key?

    Thanks,

    greg

You will never have to enter a new key unless you erase the registry (e.g. cold/hard reset).
