Default Grrr!! Need Help!! Too Many Choices!

I need help choosing my first PDA. I need something that can display digital photos, loaded from either a CF card or by USB or both. Why you ask? I am going to hawaii in a few weeks for a wedding and I have been chosen to take the pictures. I need to be able to view the pics while I am there and I need a screen larger than what is on the camera. (kind of a silly reason to buy a PDA I know, but I need a new toy anyway)

I also want the ability to play video, music games, etc..., plus the standard PDA stuff.

I was ready to buy the iPAQ hx2415 at circuit city. I played with it and i really liked it. Then I saw the palmone LD and that seemed more like what I was looking for, then I saw the Axim X50v and the iPAQ hx4705 and h2215. I'm so confused.

I need to buy online because the local selection is very, very limited and need some input.

I've always been partial to the iPaq family []

I almost got one, but personally I think they are way overpriced

I have to agree with Austin, since we both endorse the Dell Axim x50v...
We both are obviously not alone..... If you go to the "Home" section of Bargain, upper left corner. You will see the percentage confirmation...n/c
Might be a bit costly, but at present time seems worth it....n/c

The X50v is nice. The main advantage of teh LD is you can copy the photos to the hard drive to clear your memory card, if it's SD.

One problem with the LD for this one. The LD features no CF slot or USB capability

I can't talk about it much, but I think some of your concerns will be addressed soon. I'm suggesting that an accessory could be released that could utilize the new multi-connector in a way you might like.

well that's interesting. assuming you can't expand on that statement, can you estimate a time for this "thing" to be released. i like the LD and would get it but it just doesn't work for me right now. maybe I just wait it it's not too far off.
