I have never owned a pda before, recommendations?
Hello, I have never owned a PDA before, and I decided to purchase one soon. I was thinking about the HP iPaq rx 3115, since it allows me to connect to the internet. What would you recommend apart from that one?
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it!!!

Hello, first of all, what is OS?
And I am just looking for a good "first PDA" in which I will be able to take notes (with a keyboard) during lectures, and write down important things during my meetings. And if possible, with a WIFI, bluetooth, and MP3 player, although the last is not a priority. I was looking at Dell products, as well as HP products, but I am open to suggestion. I am willing to pay $250 - $350. Thank you so much!!!

What sort of features are you looking for?
How much are you looking to spend?
Do you have a preference of OS?

OS = Operating System
The Dell offers a much better value than the HP. I'd look at the X30 high.

one more last question, how many YRS tech support is okay? 3 seems too much, and 2 just correct, but I would like to hear from people. Thank you!

Most companies offer 90day to 1yr warranties with a period there of free tech support. If you can get 2yr tech support a little to no cost, that is well. I personally find that after the inital 90 days or so, tech support from websites such as this is better and faster.
Peace and Blessings

I wouldn't get anything longer than 1 year from Dell unless they have a sale on longer plans.

Hello, I have a last question. If I were to buy a 1 GB memory stick, would you recommend getting the 32 MB Dell X30 or the 64MB one? and if I take away the memory stick, will it not work as much?
Thank you

I would recommend you get one of the 64 MB configurations. A 1 GB storage card is nice, but having the extra internal room is a definite plus.
WiFi is a medium-range (100 to 1500 feet) wireless communication standard. It's very power hungry, but it lets you connect through a wireless router to a high-speed internet connection at home, work, or a 'hotspot'. Bluetooth is short range (under 30 feet) and designed to connect you to things like GPS receivers and cell phones. You can get wireless internet over Bluetooth as well, but it's very slow, and you need a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone as well as a data plan from your cellular provider.
