Default Got a Casio E-15, how do I install software on it whitout having to find a 486 PC?

I have my E-15 which has even less pre install software than I remember CE 2.11 had (no file explorer? no IE? no Office? no WMP?).

Anyway I pretty much have an organizer now until I figure out to get get something on it.

I tried by CF card until I realized it doesn't have a file explorer, so there's no way to access the CF card to launch program installers anyway.

I then bought a USB to Serial adapter, only to find the new active sync doesn't support serial, and the old active sync doesn't support Windows 7.

Now what? All I need is a file explorer installed, from that point on I can use CF cards to transfer data. Oh maybe the XP emulator, that'll be my next try.

    Thanks

I managed to connect using AS 4.5 in Windows XP emulator, only to once connected get a message like "Your device is too old, disconnecting".

What is the latest version of AS that works with the E-15 with CE 2.11?

    Thanks

Well I tried all versions and it either won't install or won't support the old PPC.

All I need is to install a file explorer (or is there a keyboard shortcut to open a run command in CE? I seem to recall there is, if I can find this command then I don't need activesync at all).

So am I out of options other than finding someone that has a 486 with Windows 98?

I managed to get it working in the XP emulator by uninstalling all versions and installing 3.8, the last version to support palm size PCs.

It works now but it's surprising how much software isn't compatible, I was hoping to at least get a gameboy emulator, is there any for CE 2.11?

    Thanks
