    Question Upgrade from Treo 650 to 680 worth it? Should wait for the Treo 750?

    Is an upgrade from a Treo 650 to 680 (Cingular) worthwhile or would it be better to wait for the release of the Treo 750 (Windows OS)?

    Really depends on if you want a palm device or a WM device

    Thank you for the quick response. However what does WM mean?

    WM = Windows Mobile

    If you are accustomed to Palm OS, WM will be a real change for you (which you might like or not, depending on your personal observations).

    If you have invested quite a bit in Palm OS SW, it might be best to go for 680 since you will be able to transfer most (if not all) of your 3th party applications.

    As usual, investigate the possibilities of both options (Palm OS or WM) before you make a decision

    Windows mobile. The Treo 680 runs Palm OS of course (same OS as your 650). The 750 runs Windows Mobile OS. That will be your primary difference. If you prefer Palm, I'd go ahead and grab a 680 because the next Palm OS Treo is likely a good time away.

    Thank you. I will probably upgrade to the Treo 680 as I do have investments in third party Palm OS.
