Thanks for the info Peppy,
I went to Palm.com and downloaded the demo to try after this term. The price looks a little expensive (ThoughtManager 19.95 and the Desktop is another 39.95). I will definitely want to look it over really well before spending that much on a program. I will also give BrainForest a try, so between the two I should find what I?m looking for.
It sounds like a great idea to work in a district like yours. I am a little worried that I will spend so much time doing paperwork, that I won?t have time to teach!
Oh well, back to the books.

This is very probably a stupid question but I'm brain dead from some PC problems, etc. etc.
I have both Docs to Go and WordSmith on my Palm m515.
How do I get these docs to my PC and I guess into Word to print them out as I do not have a Bluetooth card?
Many thanks!!

Hmm...
I'm not sure I understand your question. I am not very familiar with WordSmith but I do know that when I sync, all of my documents in documents to go show up in "My Documents" folder on my PC. I would assume WordSmith does the same or something similar.

Peppy,
Please keep posting. I wish this forum had been around last January when I started my post B. A. teacher certification program. I completed all of my academic courses during spring (My handwriting is wretched and my notes look like chicken scratch. Besides, a palm weighs a lot less than a binder full of notes.
) 2002 and will be student teaching this fall.
I was also looking for information/applications on how a Palm could help me during student teaching and in my teaching career. As a former computer geek/user support person, I am always looking for computerized ways to accomplish things.
Anyway, I'll be checking back often.

It is nice to see the various things I post here actually help some people out. I'll keep putting things up as long as you guys occasionally let me know you are reading them! noallatin, good luck student teaching. I remember those days oh too well, it was only about 3 years ago and some of the nightmares are still fresh in my mind
I know this is a Palm forum put really, if you need some advice, or someone to vent too, I'll listen. You may need it.
