Default The Year of the PDA (at my college)

I live in a small community of about 25 people in a large building in Belgium. Last year, I was here studying at the local university, and I had a Jornada 567. Since I used it for anything and everything it could be used for (books, news, games, music, class notes, etc. and so on) I sort of became known as the "PDA guy."

At the end of the school year, I sold my Jornada. The idea was to get a little extra spending cash and also to shed some of the "PDA guy" image, since around here they were still considered a little "wierd."

Hence the irony... Since the beginning of the school year for 2003, we got a new resident who is a long-time user of a HandEra 330. The rector of our college bought a Toshiba e310; one student bought a Viewsonic V35; another bought a Treo 90; another bought a Palm Zire 71; one of the graduate professors is buying an iPaq 1935; I'm buying an iPaq 1935.

Seems a little strange that, considering that PDA sales are supposed to be dead or something, my little community just basically and spontaneously went PDA-mad. Kind of gets you right there, doesn't it?

    Nice.
Since you use your PDA for everything in school. Try out CoursePro and get others in your school to do the same! I need more people to run it and give me feedback.

CoursePro is kind of like DueYesterday but better and for Palm and Windows as well as PocketPC/WinCE. Lose your assignment book and try this.

I sold it in Oct. 2001 for $400 with a mind to buy the Jornada 567. Stupid on my part, but then again, selling my Jornada 548 six months earlier was stupid on my part.

I've wasted a LOT of money on upgrade fever.

Cratos, nice looking program; I'll try it when I get my 1935.

I've been looking for a program to do something like this. I'll give it a try and let you know what I think!
