Not bad for a phone... Just picked up a Samsung A500. It's not perfect, but the TFT backlit screen is so bright you can actually see it outside in direct sunlight despite its lack of reflective qualities. The games are pretty decent and the menu system is fairly intuitive (but a little overworked for a phone). I don't like paying $1 ea. for games, background pics and ringers, but at least the Vision plan is unlimited now.

Currently, there's a free extended battery offer ($59 retail value) on these, which is easily enacted by filling out a quick form online (no mail-in needed).

Now aren't these phones supposed to have BT that's currently turned off by the service provider (in this case Sprint)?

The styling is quite slick - and I found a great site (matrixm.com) that has loads of graphics and ringtones (polyphonic) that are free. The reception SEEMS worse than my Samsung SCH-8500, but apparently the meter just works differently, as I get no more dropped calls than usual, even driving from SF to Marin, which is notoriously spotty.

All in all, pretty cool. I wish my Genio had a screen this bright! Now all I need is a cell cable to go from the Tosh to the A500.
