I have had a Sony Clie SJ22 for about three years. I am in the process of syncing all the info from that Sony PDA to the New Tungsten E given to me by my work. All calenders and contacts sync but my memos will not sync over to the T-E PDA. I am using the Palm Desktop software that came with the T-E PDA. I have had to beam the memos over to my T-E from the Sony PDA. I have created a new user and tried to sync T-E with that user, All contacts and calendars come over but no memos sync either direction. (From computer to PDA of PDA to computer). I tested the same Palm desktop SW with my old Sony SJ22 (from computer to PDA and PDA to computer) and all contacts calendar and memos came over fine. So it is not my computer or Palm Desktop SW. I then asked several collegues to see if their PDA (T-E) would sync with the memos on their computers both directions and not one of FOUR people could get the memos to sync.
Does any one know of a fix or am I stuck with the BRAND NEW TUNGSTEN E that doesn't work as good as my old sony SJ22? Is this a KNOWN Problem? By the way all the hot sync managers, and Palm desk top software are the latest versions. I checked that too, wondering if that could be the issue. I'm hoping that someone has a fix... waiting to hear from you.
