Default Lost WiFI When Set Up RAZR Bluetooth

I could use some thoughts on what to do get back on my home network.

I set up the TX with my Cingular Razr using WAP enabled GSM. I got this to work, but now when I try to get on my WiFI network at home I get the "Error: Serial timeout. Could be bad cable or faulty modem. (0.0305)." I get this no matter what I change in preferences to get on wifi - network etc.

And now it is doing more reset loops than ever before. Everything worked fine before on my Siemens s56 phone.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Wifi and BT are running into the same frequency range so it is not that uncommon they get into conflict.

I could not directly find it again but I seem to recall having read over here you can not use both at the same time on a TX.
When you switch to Wifi, you need to disable BT.

Can you try that and let us know ?

I have noticed on my TX that after I use a bluetooth DUN connection on my Motorola V3, the next time I try to use Wifi I get the same message. All I have to do is turn on the bluetooth and then the Wifi connection will work. After that initial problem, if I continue to connect via Wifi, bluetooth can then be turned off.

Thanks much to both of you for responding.

Amazing, but when I turned off bluetooth nothing happened. Then I powered on and off. Then a reset loop started. Then everything worked! including getting my bottom status bar back that I lost when I installed a FITALY workaround. Amazing.

There is a god, and it loves the TX.
