Default Best Case to Hotsync with Cradle

I have had my TX for two weeks now, with only a few unexpected soft resets as I load my old software back (III>IIIC>M515>T3>TX) and I just received the illuminated cradle/charger AFTER buying the Covertech black Aluminum Case. Aside from the case feeling pretty cheap, I can't hotsync in the cradle with the case on.
Anyone know which hard case will work with the Palm cradle? I assume most leather cases will work, but please advise if some don't, as I may change to leather.
    Thanks.

I too am searching for a case that I can use in the cradle. I'm not set on metal or plastic - just something that offers decent protection, has a spot for an extra SD card or two, and lets me sync without taking the T|X out of the case.

So far I pretty much hate every case I've seen for the T|X. I really liked the old leather pouch beltclip cases for the IIIx and Vx that Palm used to put out. Simple, and effective.

I thought of getting a more functional case than that one.
The Covertec would be good if it wasn't so flimsy feeling, a little thinner, and could sync in the cradle.
Leather is nice also, but I've had problems with EB cases pressing buttons inadvertently.

Now I just have to hope that it fits the TX well enough (the T|X sticks out of the top of the Vx case so much it won't close) and isn't too thick.

I'm using the magnetic-flap Palm Executive Case that I got on eBay for $5, but it's about twice as thick as it needs to be, and a little taller. It's just too bulky.

My understanding is that most leather cases don't allow charching with a cradle. One of the exceptions to this rule is the Sena case.

Have you seen this case on the Palm Web Site?
