you receive a .zip file with two different versions of the application and a readme file, which says:

There are two mutually exclusive versions of the home button application:
    a) HomeWithFind.prc just replaces the Find button. Find command is
accessible in the menu that pops up on a long stylus press.
    b) HomeNoGoLCD.prc removes the GoLCD (Graffiti on the screen)
button, shifts other buttons and shows the Home icon on the left
side of the status bar as usual.

DO NOT INSTALL BOTH FILES AT THE SAME TIME.

The HomeWithFind version replaces the Find icon with the Home icon. The HomeNoGoLCD version does not replace the Find icon, it shifts it down and gets rid of the write-on-screen icon.
Anyone have a screen shot and/or a report of how you like it if you install the second version? I've skimmed through this thread, and so far, everything I see talks about the first version that just swaps the Home and Find buttons.

I'm setting up Tex to be a second (or more likely the primary) PDA, and will use my iQue mostly for GPS stuff now. BUT...I've had my iQue so many years that I'm so used to having the Home button on that end of the Status Bar, that I know I'll want it there on Tex, too. The question is, which version of this great little utility do I want?

looks to me like its easy to demo either one, just not at the same time. although I infrequently use the Graffiti on Screen, I do use it once in awhile, so all I've ever used is the first version mentioned, which seems to be the general case. in addition, if you use an alternate entry app, like MyKeyboard or MessageEase, you'll have a Home key there, too (positive about MessageEase, think so about MyKeyboard).

Same reason why I only installed the first-named version as well.

Actually, MySkin does this as well, and if you don't care about its myriad other bells and whistles, this home key functionality remains even after the program's 8-day trial has expired. I have it for that very reason.
