Default TX / Kinoma ver. 4.5.6 / NASATV

Restored apps to my NEW TX (Thank you Adama!!!) and found that I can no longer use Kinoma to watch NASATV??? All the other sources still play on Kinoma. Would someone try to access NASATV on your TX via Kinoma and tell me if you are successful? Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,
    Glenn

Unfortunately, I can't help. My TX no longer connects via wifi since my last router upgrade and I'm afraid I remain unmotivated to see if there is a work-around. It's an N-router that allegedly supports B connections, but there is ample evidence that TXs are very unhappy with N-routers even in mixed mode.

Hook, I know what you mean! I installed a new n-router and put our old one in storage. A few days later I tried to use the TX and it would not log on with the new router. I researched here and other sites and then dug out the old router and plugged it in to our dsl modem so I could use my TX. We are now a 2 router home!!!!

    Best regards,
    Glenn

    TX cannot connect with:
    NASA TV(Live)
    NASA TV(Media Channel)

"it may be an unsupported format, incompatible with handheld, or an invalid file"

    Mission Audio [Live] plays`

my guess is that they either changed their format to one that doesn't work.

Off topic, but what are the symptoms on it like?

Hi Adama, As RA states above. Some NASA audios play but the streaming vids do not. As RA said, they might have changed the format. If I have Blazer load the NASATV site it states that you need Flash 10.0 to play the stream. Tis a shame that it no longer seems to work. I can still get NTV on my rooted Nook though. I usually have my TX with me where ever I go and I leave the Nook at home.

ps. If I have blazer load youtube it will open Kinoma to play any youtube video I click on. But this does not happen with the NASATV stream. In the past (a while ago) I could click on the link for NTV in the Kinoma Guide and the stream would start.

Actually I meant what symptoms does the TX that doesn't boot up have--whether it's totally dead, won't go past the bootup screen, etcetera. But granted, that is off topic for this thread.
